LIFE Programme Promotion Event Held at Europe House Skopje
On 13 July 2026, a presentation of the LIFE Programme was held at Europe House Skopje as part of the national promotional activities supporting greater participation in the European Union’s funding programme for environment, climate action and the clean energy transition.
The event brought together representatives of public institutions, municipalities, academia, research organisations, businesses and civil society organisations interested in developing future LIFE project proposals.
Participants received an overview of the LIFE Programme, the funding opportunities available under the current calls, eligibility and application requirements, and practical guidance for preparing competitive project proposals. The panel session focused on national capacity building, LIFE funding opportunities, national achievements and project pipelines, key aspects of project preparation, and the LIFE project evaluation process.
The presentations were delivered by members of the eHUB4LIFE Project Team:
- Hristina Spasevska, President of the Knowledge and Skills Management Centre and Project Manager of the eHUB4LIFE Project;
- Lihnida Stojanovska-Georgievska, Project Team Member at K&S Centre and LIFE Project Development and Management Expert;
- Risto Ivanov, Project Team Member at K&S Centre and LIFE Project Development and Management Expert;
- Igor Panchevski, Project Team Member at K&S Centre and LIFE Programme Project Evaluator.
The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which participants discussed potential project ideas, application challenges and opportunities for cooperation under future LIFE initiatives.
The presentation of the LIFE Programme was organised in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to North Macedonia, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, and Europe House Skopje, whose collaboration contributed to the successful organisation of the event and the promotion of the LIFE Programme among national stakeholders.
Through such activities, the eHUB4LIFE Project continues to strengthen national capacities, encourage new partnerships and support the preparation of high-quality LIFE project proposals in North Macedonia.
