ROUND TABLE 1 “Validates the Concept and Functionalities of the LIFE MK eHUB Digital Platform”
On 13 July 2026, a presentation of the LIFE Programme was held at Europe House Skopje as part of tThe eHUB4LIFE project successfully organised Round Table 1, dedicated to shaping the concept of a sustainable digital platform designed to support the LIFE community in North Macedonia. The event took place as a satellite event on 13 July 2026 at Europe House Skopje.
The Round Table brought together relevant stakeholders to discuss the proposed concept of the LIFE MK eHUB, identify users’ needs, and provide recommendations on the services and functionalities to be incorporated into the future platform.
Participants were introduced to the results of a benchmarking analysis of digital LIFE platforms in EU countries, followed by a presentation of the proposed concept for the LIFE MK eHUB. The discussion provided an opportunity to explore how good practices from existing European platforms could be adapted to the national context and aligned with the specific needs of LIFE stakeholders.
An important part of the Round Table was the interactive discussion and online questionnaire, through which participants contributed to validating the proposed concept, prioritising functionalities, and identifying additional digital services. Particular attention was given to the technical and organisational requirements needed to ensure that the platform is accessible, user-friendly, reliable, and sustainable. The event concluded with a discussion of the preliminary results of the consultation.
The Round Table confirmed the importance of developing the LIFE MK eHUB as a practical national support and networking tool that responds directly to stakeholders’ needs and facilitates access to LIFE-related information, knowledge, guidance, and opportunities for cooperation.
