Evaluation Statistics for LIFE 2025 Calls Now Available – Insights for Macedonian Applicants

As the LIFE 2026 Calls for Proposals are now open, the eHUB4LIFE project is pleased to share the evaluation statistics from the LIFE 2025 Calls, with relevance for current and prospective applicants from North Macedonia.

The statistics provide useful insight into the participation and performance of North Macedonian applicants in the previous call and can serve as an important reference for organisations preparing proposals for LIFE 2026. They help illustrate the level of national participation, the results achieved during evaluation and the competitive environment within the different LIFE sub-programmes.

For Macedonian organisations, the 2025 results provide an opportunity to identify lessons that can contribute to stronger future applications. Successful LIFE proposals require a well-developed project concept, clear intervention logic, measurable environmental or climate impacts, appropriate partnerships, realistic implementation arrangements and strong potential for sustainability and replication.

We encourage municipalities, public institutions, universities, research organisations, civil society organisations and businesses from North Macedonia to review the LIFE 2025 evaluation statistics and use the lessons from the previous call when preparing their LIFE 2026 proposals.

We wish all LIFE 2026 applicants from North Macedonia every success in developing strong and impactful project proposals!
